Serving Platter + Plates Course

Two Day Course - October 31st and Nov 7th- 6.30-8.30pm
Cost: £85 (for 4hrs)
If you love to host wonderful dinner parties or you just want to flair up your daily meals with lovely dinner ware, this workshop is for you. Make each meal or snack as pleasing to the eye as it is for your appetite.
During the class you will learn hand building and sculpting techniques whilst making some lovely serving dishes or platters. You can make 4 plates or 3 larger serving platters.
The First workshop - September 19th 2 hours 6.30-8.30pm
For the first class you will roll out slabs of clay to shape the plates or platters you are looking to design. You will also sculpt or add any 3D decoration or texture during this session.
The Second workshop - September 26th 2 hours 6.30-8.30pm
For this workshop you will finish and decorate your work with coloured slips and underglazes.
Once you have finished your work our ceramic technician will fire and clear glaze your work. This will make your work durable and ready to serve up your culinary favourites.
No previous experience in pottery making required.
All tools and materials will be provided.
