Cancellation Policy

How do I pay for my class?

All lessons must be paid for before attending. Please do not bring additional attendees without letting us know first. If you are unable to attend your lesson, please email or call us as soon as possible and we will either reschedule your class or issue you a refund if appropriate.


How much notice do you need to give for cancellations? Workshops operate on a scheduled event basis. When an individual cannot attend a course/class/event the business (Art Space G41 CIC) must be informed within 48 hours of the scheduled start time. We cannot refund or reschedule classes that have given less than 48 hours cancellation notice. If informed within this timeframe the business can offer a full refund or a transfer to another course/class/event. Alternatively tickets may be transferred to another person if financially balanced between the individuals; the business must be informed of this to adjust attendee contact information. Outside of this timeframe the full ticket price will apply and any exception to these stipulations are at the discretion of Art Space G41 management.


If there are not enough people in any classes, will it go ahead?

A course/class/event may only run if enough participants sign up for the tutor/organisation to cover their costs. This number will vary depending on subject, materials used, applicable funding, donations and tutor availability.  


What happens in the event of a class cancelation?

In the event that the business must cancel a course/class/event, the business will inform all attendees within 12 hours of the scheduled start time. Individuals will be offered a full refund or a transfer to a later occurrence of the same event or a different event of their choosing and may pay or be refunded the difference if costs do not match up. 


How much notice do I need to give for a single-instance class or a block of classes?

Single-instance events require 48 hours notice to cancel, if the cancellation is for a block of classes, one weeks notice is required. When a cancellation is made after one or more sessions have already been attended, the business may be able to transfer the attendee onto a later iteration of the course. However, if there are no plans to reschedule the same course then any refund/transfer is at the discretion of Art Space G41 management.


Can I be refused a refund for a class?

The business reserves the right to refuse refund or transfer to anyone.


What happens if I am late to a class?

Please arrive on time, or let us know if you are going to be late. If you arrive late, your class will still need to finish within the time slot.
