Overview

We are very excited to welcome you back to the studio at Art Space G41! 

Safety is our top priority – We are working inline with the regulations as per the Scottish Government, in particular “Coronavirus (COVID-19): guidance for creative studios and shared workspaces”.

With regards to all workshops at Art Space G41, please read the below, and should you have any further queries please do not hesitate to contact us. 

Note: this is all subject to change at short notice as per the changing situation and instructions given by the Scottish Government. 

General 

Please do NOT attend your class or workshop if you have any of the following symptoms:

  • A high temperature
  • A new persistent cough
  • Loss of taste or smell 

If you are currently shielding it is advised that you consult your GP before attending any classes or workshops. 

Face coverings must be worn for the following: 

  • entering and leaving the studio
  • moving between your desk space and the sink area
  • Visiting the toilet facilities 

When seated at your allocated work station you are free to remove your face covering if you so wish.

We operate a 2 metre social distancing rule, please be courteous when arriving / leaving and moving around the studio.

Please avoid touching your face during workshops.

All workshop participants will be asked to sign an informed consent document highlighting the risk related to COVID-19.

Please arrive no earlier than 5 minutes before the workshop starts. 

Your temperature will be taken at the start of each session using a non contact digital thermometer. If you have an elevated temperature, you will not be permitted to participate in the session for the safety of other individuals within the space. 

You will be asked to sanitise your hands on arrival at the space.

Measures Art Space G41 has Taken

We have installed several hand sanitising stations around the studio that we encourage you to use.

We have reduced our studio capacity to 10 people to avoid over congestion.

Maximum number of people to a table is 3 – they must come from the same household or “bubble”.

Plastic screens will be in place between work spaces where necessary.

Work stations have been placed at least 2 metres apart. 

We have installed a new sink for studio users to ensure clean hand practise. 

Workshops leaders and assistants will be wearing PPE in accordance with Government guidelines.

Work stations are being sanitised before & after every workshop.

Brand new tool kits will be provided to every studio user to keep to avoid contamination.

Any equipment that is to be shared will be wiped down with sanitiser before and after use.
